On the first Saturday of every month this Historic Downtown District hosts a Gallery Walk along Canal and Douglas Streets. This free art stroll features vendors and artists who set up along the street from 10 am to 5 pm, exhibiting their latest individual creations. The Canal Street Craft Beer Walk is held simultaneously from 1 pm to 7 pm. Visitors can sample an assortment of local brew flavors as they wind their way through a variety of fine local pubs and breweries.
On the second Saturday of every month Canal Street Historic District along with the East Coast Cruisers cosponsor Cruise Night on Canal Street beginning at 4 pm and ending at 8 pm. There is food and entertainment for the whole family. Come see the antique muscle cars! There’s truly a lot to love in this area of New Smyrna Beach including a unique blend of parks and excellent water views as you head toward the river.
