Restaurants in Los Cabos

Los Cabos has some of the best restaurants on the Baja Peninsula. The combination of Bajan foods and international cuisines catering to visitors and locals alike make this a unique place to try something different, or familiar depending on your tastes. We’re recommending the three best restaurants to visit in Los Cabos on your vacation.

Where to eat in Los Cabos

Vela (Hilton Los Cabos)

Vela is a fine dining restaurant located at the Hilton Hotel in Los Cabos serving regional Italian cuisine with a slight fusion infusion of fresh Mexican ingredients and flavors. You can be sure to taste classic Italian fare like bruschetta and antipasto to start followed by pasta with delicious ragu. The specialty at Vela is a homemade Oaxacan mole linguini. If you haven’t tried mole before, the Oaxacan variety (arguably where it originated) is to die for.

Cafe des Artistes (JW Marriott Los Cabos)

This restaurant is a swanky place serving French dishes in San Jose del Cabo. Located inside the JW Marriott, the atmosphere pairs perfectly with the menu. As with other international restaurants in the area, the menu includes Mexican flavors and Baja California wines. So, what’s on the menu? Fried soft crab, iberian ham, prawn and pumpkin soup, and foie gras risotto with black mole.

Sunset Monalisa

The Sunset Monalisa is more than a restaurant, it’s an entire experience. Tribune International dubbed it the 5th coolest restaurant in the world. And while being fifth in a race is generally not fantastic, the world is massive so this should tell you something about this devine location. The restaurant is outdoor seating and white table dining. Built into the side of a cliff, your meal will arrive with a side of sunset and views of the Sea of Cortez and El Arco a few miles away. The menu is a set three-course meal with seafood, meat, or vegetarian options. Special occasions call for the 5-course or 7-course meal options with choices such as glazed duck breast, potato gnocchi, yellowtail tuna, or wagyu steak.
