The lifeguard building and main lifeguard station is on the north side of the Sun splash Park parking lot. It is called the Volusia County Beach Safety Ocean Rescue Lifeguard Headquarters. Daytona Beach has special lifeguards besides the ones that sit in those little booths on the beach. They have Lifeguard, Medic and Police combos! Â
