Flyboarding in Los Cabos
Flyboarding is one of the many water activities you can participate in on your vacation to Los Cabos. Let’s take a look at what flyboarding is and where you can take part in Cabo.
What is Flyboarding
Flyboarding is an extreme water sport that launches you out of the water propelled by water pressure. Think of it like a hoverboard with water jets shooting out. Live out your fantasies of being an aquatic Iron Man aboard the watercraft. Flyboarding will launch you up to 50 feet into the air or submerge you underwater for a depth of 8 feet. The experience is one-of-a-kind and a perfect way to spend some time in the Los Cabos sun.
Flyboards are connected by a 60 foot long hose to a watercraft (seadoo, Kawasaki, etc) that pushes water at high pressure into the flyboard. The operator of the watercraft controls the pressure of the water and the height of your flight.
Where to Flyboard in Los Cabos
Cabo Flyboard
Cabo Flyboard is a top provider of water sport activities in Los Cabos. Located at Medano Beach, the company was the first authorized dealer of flyboards in Baja. You can rent a flyboard and take off into the air with the help of a dedicated Seadoo operator. You can book the activity from 9am to 5pm daily at Avenue del Pescador along Medano Beach.
Hydro Flyboard
Hydro Flyboard is located in the Marina Puerto Los Cabos for a safer and easily accessible flyboarding experience. The location is only 5 minutes from downtown San Jose del Cabo and operates year round except for the month of September. You will start with a flyboarding lesson (where you will learn some flyboarding tricks) in the marina followed by a flight at 1 foot over the water’s surface. Then, you will gradually build height and take off. The marina is a great place to learn how to flyboard since there are no waves or other boats in this designated flyboarding area. Perfect for beginners.
