Ponce Preserve Address: 4400 Block of South Atlantic and South Peninsula Drive, Ponce Inlet, FL 32127
Ponce Preserve Offers These Cool things:
Ponce Preserve contains a Florida State Archaeological Site called Green Mound. The park is 41 acres and extends from the Halifax River to the Atlantic Ocean. In the middle section there is a Live Oak that they believe is 350 years old! There is good handicap access to both the river and the beach. The area in the middle is a sand dune area and is not handicap accessible. The riverside deck walk is close to 1/3 mile of a mile. The park is part of the Florida Great Birding Trail and is a great place for bird watching or just seeing some cool nature.

*The better parking area is off of Peninsula Ave. On the beach side there are like 6 spaces!
*There are bathrooms at the beach and river side parking areas both handicap accessible.
*The playground is closed due to Covid but is just amazing! (I wish I was a still a kid)
*Use GPS, the park comes up quick and many people pass right by it the first time or two.
