Oceans Golf Club Overview:
“Best little 13-hole executive course in the area! Reasonable rates, a walking course with shaded areas, and plenty of cold water provided along the way. You’re going to love the relaxed pace.”
This fascinating and friendly, privately owned, nonprofit golf course got its start in 1983 as a 12-hole par 3 hybrid layout in Daytona. When one hole was closed due to a driveway being added at the apartment complex the course encircles, two new holes were created in its place. Oceans Golf Club is a now a 13-hole, par 3 course south of Daytona Beach. It is open to the public and encourages golfers of all abilities and ages.
This relatively flat course is perfect for seniors who like to walk and golfers who are new to the sport. The fairways are unobstructed and there is no water that comes into play. Only four of the holes are longer than 100 yards. It is a walking course, which makes it an excellent way to get exercise and practice your short game. It is also a great value time wise, as well as easy on your wallet.
Located at 2 Oceans W. Boulevard, Daytona Beach Shores.
The course opens at 7:30AM and closes at 5PM. They can be reached at (386) 788-2998.
The Green Fee is $14.00 with a Same Day, 2nd Round Rate at $5.00. Pull carts and golf clubs with lightweight golf bags are also available for rental.
