Enchanted Forest Sanctuary

Standing at the edge of Enchanted Forest Sanctuary, you soon realize this charming wildlife sanctuary certainly lives up to its name. Massive trees, gardens teeming with local plants, and a plethora of wildlife species invite you on a magical journey through diverse natural habitats, historic sites, and geological oddities. Enchanted Forest Sanctuary, located at 444 Columbia Boulevard (right outside of Kennedy Space Center off US 1) in Titusville, has a nature center, as well as four miles of hiking trails. The trails, though nicely defined and marked, are not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. There are several overlook areas most notably on the Coquina Trail and the Enchanted Forest Crossing Trail. Maps are available, allowing you to pick and choose the routes you prefer.

The Management & Education Center is free and filled with pertinent information and interactive exhibits for visitors of all ages and abilities. This well-rounded nature center also has a butterfly garden, weekly nature activities, special events, and a library. Amenities include free parking and public restrooms, as well. Wildlife observation, nature photography, hiking, and cycling are popular recreational activities at Enchanted Forest Sanctuary. This preserve has evolved into a real gem: a must-stop for any families who love the outdoors!
