A visit to the Living Legends of Auto Racing is definitely a win. Step back in time and explore the history of stock car racing in Florida with a walk through racing’s early days. Enjoy archival photos and authentic memorabilia including antique racecars, engines, helmets, and other vintage artifacts.
Located at 2400 S. Ridgewood Ave (US 1), South Daytona, the Living Legends of Auto Racing Museum strives to keep the legacy and tradition of stock car racing alive and well. The museum curates events with special guests during Speed Weeks, playing host to a wide assortment of drivers from many different forms of racing and showcasing an expanded collection of historic cars. Other events include car show parades, allowing visitors to experience real racers and see some historic cars on the road. If you’re a racing fan, this place is for you. The museum is currently open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm.
(Summer hours vary.) Admission is free. Visitors might also enjoy the Living Legends of Auto Racing Memorial Brick Walk of Fame
located at 3050 Atlantic Avenue, featuring inscribed bricks honoring the pioneers of auto racing.
