Ashby, who helped lead American military forces during the second Seminole War, features a boardwalk that spans the lake allowing for unique and unobstructed views of Florida’s natural beauty.

Enjoy the varied range of outdoor recreational opportunities the park has to offer. From walking/hiking to canoeing, fishing, bird watching and even camping, this park has all you need to immerse yourself in nature for a few glorious hours or even days. Find everything from primitive tent camping spots, to equestrian nature trails, a fishing pier, pavilions with grills and picnic tables, and a 3,500 square foot children’s playground with lots of space for running, climbing and swinging. A volleyball court and clean bathrooms are also a bonus!

From the moment you step out of your vehicle, Lake Ashby Park will start working its magic. Open daily from sunrise to sunset, a journey through this uncongested natural beauty won’t disappoint.

Admission is free, however, there is a $15 +tax fee for the camping sites.
