Just as the sun eases into the morning sky, this beautiful, soothing waterfront park in Holly Hill will surely awaken your senses. Sunrise Park (North and South) encompasses several acres of land that gently jut out into the Halifax River. It features three fishing piers, a covered pavilion with picnic tables, a playground, restrooms, and a boat ramp.
Accessible to boaters, pedestrians, bicyclists, and even gnomes*, this park has something for everyone. Walking paths wind their way around the park inviting you to infuse yourself with natural beauty. Feel the boost of adrenalin while working out in the outdoor fitness court. As daylight sinks into dusk, bask in the pinks and blues of a Florida sunset. You will surely be transformed. Sunrise Park is located at 1135 Riverside Drive in Holly Hill. It’s open from sunrise to sunset and admission is free.
*Just south of Sunrise Park at 1037 Riverside Drive, you’ll find the Gnome Tree. Apparently, Holly Hill is home to gnomes and a lot of them. There’s no place like a Holly Hill home especially if you’re a gnome! Check it out!
