The Elvis Suite at Westgate Las Vegas
Elvis Presley resided in a 5,000-square-foot Imperial Suite on the 30th floor of the International Hotel — now the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. From 1969 through his final performance in December 1976, the King performed 636 consecutive sold-out shows in the hotel’s showroom.
The suite was in Room 3000, the penthouse level. It was Elvis’s Las Vegas home for seven years during his legendary residency.
The Suite’s History
The original International Hotel opened in 1969 as the largest hotel in the world. Elvis was booked for the grand opening — and the rest is rock and roll history. The hotel changed hands multiple times:
- International Hotel (1969–1971) — Where Elvis first performed
- Las Vegas Hilton (1971–2012) — The Hilton era
- LVH – Las Vegas Hotel & Casino (2012–2014) — Brief transition
- Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino (2014–present) — Current ownership
The Elvis Suite was demolished in 1994 to make way for the Westgate Sky Villas — three ultra-luxury suites for high rollers, each with a private swimming pool and at least 12,000 square feet of space.
So if you’re wondering how much a night in the Elvis Suite costs — unfortunately, you’d need a time machine. The suite no longer exists.
What You Can Still See
While the original suite is gone, the Westgate still celebrates Elvis’s legacy:
- Elvis statue in the hotel lobby
- Elvis Presley’s Graceland Wedding Chapel on the property
- Historical photos and memorabilia throughout the hotel
- The showroom where Elvis performed (now the Westgate International Theater)
The hotel sits at 3000 Paradise Road, Las Vegas, NV 89109 — one block from the Strip with direct access to the Las Vegas Monorail.
