The Titusville Playhouse, located within the Historic Emma Parrish Theatre at 301 Julia Street in Titusville, is a flourishing theatre in its 56th season of providing quality, live, year round theatre experiences. Following the endorsement of new leadership and a 1.7 million dollar remodel project, the playhouse has undergone a major metamorphosis over the last decade transforming itself into a quality community theatre. Committed to excellence in artistic productions and children’s educational programs, Titusville Playhouse strives to make enriching programs accessible to visitors and residents alike.

The main stage of the playhouse offers several options in regard to seating. Choose between a 150-seat orchestra section with a round cocktail table or countertop and the excellent views of the stage from the 124-seat balcony. There’s a concession stand with a full liquor bar in the lobby. A parking lot across the street readily accommodates theatre guests. This hidden gem has re-established itself as the cultural and live-entertainment hub of Brevard County.

For the more adventurous, animated performances courtesy of long dead residents may add to the excitement. Built in 1905, the Emma Parrish Theatre formerly a hotel, saloon, apartment building and silent movie house, is listed as one of Florida’s haunted places.

Performers have seen their fair share of odd occurrences. Costumes fly across the attic, shadows traverse walkways in broad daylight, unplugged lights turn off and on, and little boy and girl spirits make their presence known…
