Rowdy Bear's Smoky Mountain Snowpark makes its own winter: a giant snow-making system feeds what the venue bills as the longest, fastest snow-tubing hill in Tennessee, and in summer the same hill runs tubing sessions in one-to-two-hour blocks with a conveyor lift and cooling misters at the bottom. The park was called Rowdy Bear Ridge in its early years — the 2021 tour on this page is that era, and the summaries say so. Note this is the PIGEON FORGE park; Rowdy Bear's Gatlinburg location is a different venue.

The insider-edition film arrived as the snow system was going in: tubing hill, the Power Coaster, and Sugar Bear's Cafe & Creamery as the food stop. Every Day Is Saturday take the family down the big hill in full winter form. In fall the park turns Halloween for Boo Bash — unlimited rides and trick-or-treating on select nights, filmed in fall 2026.
The powered coasters
Two of the park's rides put a motor under you. The Avalanche Snow Coaster is powered — hold the throttle down to keep moving — and doubles as a shooting gallery: hold the trigger to rapid-fire at snowflake targets, your score posted on the gun. The Coaster Kart, filmed the day after it opened in March 2021, was billed as a first-of-its-kind powered alpine coaster — driver throttle, tire wheels — on a track that runs right along the Parkway, advertising itself to every passing car. A third, the Ski Lift Shootout, bills itself as America's first alpine flyer with target shooting; its POV closes the page.
