Rocky Top runs the long game: a nine-minute-plus ride — among the area's longest, billed by its riders as the longest mountain coaster in Tennessee — through a rustic farm theme of barns, hay bales, farm equipment and clotheslines, about a mile from Dollywood. By day it is the scenic veteran of the Parkway's coaster field; on fall nights it turns its tunnels into haunted houses, and this page carries both personalities.

ThrillStop's talk-through POV hunts for a glimpse of Wild Eagle's lift hill on the long climbs; the general-store theming runs along the track. The POV library spans 2019 to 2024 in 4K — the same ride across six seasons, which is its own kind of review.
Coasts & Goblins
The Carpetbagger rode the Halloween version in 2020 and measured it as the longest mountain coaster in the Pigeon Forge–Gatlinburg area, turned into a rolling haunted house: scare actors stocked in the tunnels, levers in the rider's own hands, and a very long lift hill of dread. The 2025 full-ride POV adds coffins, tunnels and a Thriller dance break.

The newest haunt opened in fall 2026: a military-themed storyline set up by pre-show video, actors along the track, on select September and October nights. The opening-night film is ridden by a self-confessed scaredy-cat, which makes it the most honest review on the page.
