Paula Deen's Lumberjack Feud is two attractions on one ticket: a supper show where two families — the Dawsons and the McGraws — settle a feud through real lumberjack competition, and an Adventure Park next door with a zipline coaster, climbing poles and log rolls. Paula Deen herself goes behind the scenes in one film here, and appeared as the night's special guest in another. The competitors, she points out, are world-class athletes; the events span chopping, sawing, climbing and log rolling.

The full review walks the all-you-can-eat buffet course by course — the vinegar-based coleslaw is the deliberate curveball nobody else in the area serves — and the nearly-full competition film explains the events as they run: chopping a 'clock' from both sides, the 139-tooth breaker racing saw cutting cookies off the log, with the family feud running between events.
The Adventure Park
In The Loop's Ranger gives the in-depth tour: two log-roll stations (his tip — hit them at a full run; walking it is harder), 25-foot climbing poles, the ropes course and the Flying Ox, the roller-coaster/zipline hybrid that gets its own POV film at the end of this page. From the course's high points you can see The Island's wheel. Combo passes let you split the show and the park across a day.
