Splash Country is Dollywood's water park — 35 acres of slides folded into a tree-covered hillside next door to the theme park, sharing one parking lot and one parking fee, with a shuttle between them. The 2026 full tour rides everything, starting with the 70-foot drop tower; the anniversary-year tour covers the logistics; and the slide libraries at the end of this page show every drop in first person before you climb it.

Fire Tower Falls is the tallest at 70 feet, with side-by-side free-fall body slides. Mountain Scream runs three slides — the middle orange one has the quad-down drop, per the guide who ranked them. Raging River Rapids rafts hold four to five riders, so big groups split up. Height and chaperone rules are posted per ride and shown on film. The season runs May through September.
The setting is the argument
Reviewers keep landing on the same point: this is a water park built into a wooded mountainside, not a concrete bowl. The Cascades pool hides at the back with waterfalls and a kids' slide. The wave pool cycles about every five minutes. Retreats and canopies rent shade; the Ranger Station area under the trees works as a free family base camp. One self-described non-waterpark guy came away converted.

As a Dollywood hopper add-on the park ran about $10 as filmed — at that price every reviewer calls it an easy yes. The honest warning is terrain: the park is genuinely hilly, so plan footwear and energy accordingly, especially with small kids and a full day.
