The Bush's Visitor Center is in CHESNUT HILL, near Dandridge — about 24 minutes from Sevierville's Dolly Parton statue — and it is the rare corporate museum that earns its films: a FREE museum inside the original A.J. Bush & Company general store (open 9 to 4, Monday to Saturday), the general store and gift shop you enter through, and the Bush's Best Family Cafe next door, where a rotating bean of the day arrives at every table. The working bean factory stands across the street; it offers no tours, and every film says so plainly. Bush Brothers has operated in this Jefferson County community since 1908.

The museum reopened in 2022 after a roughly six-month revamp that replaced the old walk-through can with history-first exhibits: the family Bible, A.J. Bush's office chair, early canning tools, a 1950s kitchen mock-up, a bean-making film — and a scale that weighs you in beans. The 1940 Ford truck parks out front; the family homestead stands across the highway.
Duke, told properly
The Carpetbagger's 2023 return tells the Duke story the way the museum tells it: the commercials' golden retriever was one real dog, and he was never replaced after he died. Beans have been made across the street in Chestnut Hill the whole time.

Lunch earns the strongest food praise in the area from Yankee in the South, and the standing advice in every film: save room for the cafe's pinto bean pie. The holiday films at the end tour the decorated Bush family home at Christmas — the visitor center dressed for the season.
