Best Restaurants in Pigeon Forge
Pigeon Forge’s restaurant scene runs along the Parkway — a 5-mile strip of pancake houses, family buffets, and dinner shows. Mixed in with the chains are some genuinely good local spots.
Dollywood Dining
Aunt Granny’s (Dollywood) — All-you-can-eat buffet inside the park. Southern comfort food — fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, and cornbread. One of the best values in the park.
Grist Mill Cinnamon Bread (Dollywood) — Not a restaurant, but the cinnamon bread from the Grist Mill is Dollywood’s most famous food item. The line is always long. Get it.
Front Porch Café (Dollywood) — Sit-down Southern dining with pot roast, fried catfish, and the kind of cooking that Dolly’s mama would have made.
Pancake Houses
Flapjack’s Pancake Cabin (Pigeon Forge Parkway) — Log cabin atmosphere, creative pancakes, and country breakfast plates. The bear-claw cinnamon roll is a regional obsession.
Sawyer’s Farmhouse Restaurant — Country breakfast with scratch-made biscuits and sawmill gravy. Less touristy than the Parkway pancake houses.
BBQ & Southern
The Old Mill Restaurant — A Pigeon Forge institution since 1946, next to an 1830 working grist mill. Southern comfort food — corn chowder, pot roast, fried chicken, and biscuits made from stone-ground flour milled next door. The corn fritters are the signature.
Huck Finn’s Catfish — Fried catfish, hush puppies, and all-you-can-eat options. Simple, consistent, and the catfish is fresh.
Dinner Shows
Dolly Parton’s Stampede — 32 horses, trick riding, and a four-course dinner eaten without utensils. Rotisserie chicken, pork loin, corn on the cob, and a biscuit.
Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud — Comedy dinner show based on the famous Appalachian feud. All-you-can-eat Southern food during the performance.
