The cluster: Loch Haven Park
Orlando's museums concentrate in one park, and four films prove it. The Orlando Science Center gets two: a rainy-day family trip across four floors of hands-on exhibits (the rainy-day classic, October 2026), and a floor-by-floor tour naming the exhibits not to skip — the first-floor LIFE exhibit with its animals, up to the new Dome theater. The Orlando Museum of Art walkthrough weighs the $20 admission against the Dale Chihuly piece in the atrium and the galleries. The Mennello Museum of American Art — folk and outsider art and sculpture grounds, minutes from OMA — gets walked by a visitor who found OMA closed and lucked into it. And the Orlando Fire Museum, a hidden-gem firehouse of firefighter history and antique apparatus, completes the park.
Winter Park's pair
The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum holds the world's most comprehensive Louis Comfort Tiffany collection — glasswork, stained glass, pottery, painting — revisited here during its free-entry August (the museum was founded in the 1940s). The Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens tours the artist's home and figurative sculpture with a self-confessed sculpture man on the hour-long guided tour.
Downtown and the midway
The Orange County Regional History Center fills the 1927 courthouse: a Timucua canoe recovered from a local lake and dated to about 1500, Spanish-discovery displays, and a Mercury capsule among the Central Florida collections. And at ICON Park, the Museum of Illusions gets a full tour — 50+ illusion rooms walked one by one, prices as posted at filming. Most of these museums have their own full pages on this site; this guide is the map.
