PopStroke Myrtle Beach opened in March 2024 in the Key West section of Broadway at the Beach — Tiger Woods' putting concept at full scale: two 18-hole courses built like real golf holes, bunkers and complex greens included, one of them ADA-accessible. Five films cover its first seasons.
The venue
The CVB's feature walks it with the venue's marketing coordinator: the courses, a 24-flavor ice cream parlor, a beer garden with cornhole and ping pong, a playground, and all-day passes that let families leave and return. The opening-days film catches the lines down the sidewalk and the full-service layer — QR-code ordering that delivers food to your table, specialty milkshakes and the whiskey-lemonade 'Tee Off.' Carmen and Brian's opening-day visit adds the entrance mechanics: choose your play, prices posted — check online, they warn, because they change.
Playing it
The Boones' return visit actually plays: a girls-versus-boys match on the blue course with app or paper scorecards, contoured greens, and the all-day deal as filmed — $30 per person covered both courses, all day, with leave-and-return. The girls won, 46 to 45. The local's-take review closes with the residents' math: Grand Strand locals can join a membership instead (initiation plus a three-month commitment, about 25% off, drinks a couple of dollars cheaper) — prices fair for a tourist area, food very good, easy parking.
