The Pelicans — the Chicago Cubs' Single-A club — sell something bigger than baseball, and their president says so in this page's lead film: most people at a Pelicans game don't think of themselves as baseball fans, and that's the point. The front office jokes a game is a four-hour show interrupted by 18 segments of baseball.
The renovated ballpark
The team's own 2026 Season in Review doubles as a tour of the rebuild: around-the-clock construction after the 2025 playoff run produced The Diamond, a premier event space, a new clubhouse and performance center with climate-controlled batting cages, a 2,228-square-foot video board, new seats, hospitality areas and LED ribbon boards. Team president Ryan Moore's interview adds Slider the bat dog and the roar he can hear from his office below the stands.
Game nights
The remaining films are the ballpark's texture, all from the team's own channel (fan film of this park barely exists — an honest gap): the Fourth of July game-night atmosphere in 2026, a post-game recap package from June 2024, the club's community-impact work beyond game nights, and a Mic'd Up session with former big-league World Series champion Ben Zobrist walking the park. Minor-league baseball as the locals produce it: fireworks nights, a bat dog, and a show that happens to include a game.
