Legends in Concert — born in Las Vegas in 1983, running in Myrtle Beach for over three decades — recreates musical heroes with live vocals and obsessive authenticity. Its COO is also its resident Elvis: Taylor Rodriguez decided on this career at age 9 after seeing an Elvis tribute in Myrtle Beach, and explains in the lead film how the show works — down to original costumes Elvis himself wore.
The artists
The Adele film is a television segment with Janae Longo, in town for a Legends residency: 15 years entertaining on Carnival cruise ships (rising to cruise director), TV hair-department work, a nine-month Las Vegas Legends residency — and the discovery that her voice shares Adele's rich, raspy tone.
Dolly, twice
Karen Hester's Dolly Parton closes the page in two official clips: 'Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree' from the theater's Christmas-season show, and her 2021 theater performance of the tribute. An honest supply note: Legends' longer artist films mostly document other cities' residencies — two longer uploads checked for this page proved to be Branson performances and were excluded. Four films is the verified Myrtle Beach record, and all four are here.
