Barefoot Landing is Barefoot Landing is North Myrtle Beach's answer to Broadway — a lakefront district of shops, restaurants and theaters (the Alabama Theatre and the House of Blues both live here) wrapped around the water at the Intracoastal's edge. Two channels tour it the way weather changes, and this page stacks their visits.
The tours
Carmen and Brian's newest full tour is the current-state record, development news included; their complete tour starts from one of their favorite shops anywhere — the Christmas Mouse, a huge two-story year-round Christmas store — and works the full complex. Their summer edition ends in the food shops: the olive shop and the Pepper Palace among the last stops.
The seasons
The Boones supply the calendar: just before the Fourth of July (full circuit, a bite to eat, and the closing survival note — if the Fourth is going to be this hot, pack the ice packs); dressed for Christmas 2025, every restaurant carrying a theme with the Big Chill Island House anchoring; and a what's-coming walk filmed during Boo Fest, Barefoot's Halloween costume party for kids two and up, pets included.
The churn
MyrtleBeach.com's 2019 profile closes the page as a period piece — a snapshot of that season's new stores, and a reminder that at Barefoot the retail mix is a moving target. Check the newest tour before you plan the visit.
