David’s Café (South Beach) — Cuban breakfast. Tostada with butter, croquetas, and café con leche. Fast, cheap, and authentic.

OTL (Over the Line, multiple locations) — Specialty coffee meets South Beach style. Pour-over, cold brew, and pastries in a modern setting.

South Beach Brunch

The Front Porch Café (Ocean Drive) — One of the best casual brunch spots on Ocean Drive. Banana-stuffed French toast, huevos rancheros, and omelets with patio seating overlooking the beach. Reasonable prices for Ocean Drive.

Nikki Beach — Pool-and-beach club with Sunday brunch. Champagne, seafood, and a DJ. More of an event than a meal. Dress to impress.

Juvia (Lincoln Road penthouse) — Rooftop brunch with French-Japanese-Peruvian fusion. The views from the top of the Lincoln Road garage are spectacular. Reserve ahead.

Beyond the Beach

Salty Donut (Wynwood) — Artisan donuts that have redefined what a donut can be. Maple bacon, guava and cheese (a nod to Cuban pastelitos), and seasonal creations. The coffee program is excellent too.

Zak the Baker (Wynwood) — James Beard-nominated bakery. Challah French toast on weekends, pastries daily, and bread that’s worth buying a loaf to take back to your hotel.

Michael’s Genuine (Design District) — Weekend brunch with a farm-to-table approach. Eggs from local farms, house-baked bread, and a Bloody Mary that’s more of a meal than a drink.
