Pet-Friendly Las Vegas
Bringing your dog to Vegas? More properties are becoming pet-friendly, and the city has parks, patios, and experiences that welcome four-legged visitors.
Pet-Friendly Hotels on the Strip
The Delano — Dogs up to 50 lbs. Pet fee applies. One of the most upscale pet-friendly options.
Vdara (CityCenter) — All-suite, non-smoking, non-gaming hotel. Dogs welcome. Quieter than most Strip properties.
The Cromwell — Boutique hotel. Dogs welcome with deposit.
Planet Hollywood — Dogs up to 50 lbs with pet fee.
Always call ahead to confirm current pet policies and fees — they change frequently.
Dog Parks
Charlie Frias Memorial Park — Off-leash dog park with separate areas for large and small dogs. One of the best-maintained parks in the city.
Desert Breeze Park (Spring Valley) — Large off-leash area, plus walking trails and a lake.
Sunset Park — Huge park with off-leash area, lake, and jogging paths. One of the most popular parks in Las Vegas.
Pet-Friendly Patios
Lazy Dog Restaurant — The name says it. Dog-friendly patio with water bowls and a dedicated dog menu. Multiple locations.
Mon Ami Gabi (Paris Las Vegas) — The iconic fountain-view patio allows small dogs. Verify current policy when making reservations.
Downtown Container Park — The open-air shopping/dining area made from shipping containers allows leashed dogs.
Desert Tips for Dogs
The desert heat is dangerous for pets. Pavement temperatures can exceed 150°F in summer — enough to burn paw pads in seconds. If you can’t hold the back of your hand on the pavement for 5 seconds, it’s too hot for your dog. Walk early morning or after sunset only during summer months. Always carry water for your pet.
