The year-round haunt, at its peak
Universal Horror Unleashed at AREA15 runs all year, but Halloween is its season, and two films take you inside: a manager-led tour of the four mazes (Universal Monsters leading) with themed food and cocktails, and the October 18, 2026 Halloween episode of a local TV magazine — houses named (Scarecrow: The Reaping, Texas Chain Saw Massacre, The Exorcist: Believer) and the $19 'Frighty Cat' ticket explained: entry to the venue, entertainment and dining without entering the houses. The same episode collects the city's ghost lore firsthand — the Flamingo showroom's resident 'usher' ghost via the Drag Race Live cast, El Cortez's chairman explaining the 'people buried in the basement' legend himself (urns of family-less employees, kept by Jackie Gaughan), and The Golden Tiki's manager on the exploding safe glass that landed the bar on Ghost Adventures, plus its ticketed October Wednesday haunted-magic nights and wall of ~200 celebrity shrunken heads.
The museum you can't film
Three films exist inside Zak Bagans' Haunted Museum precisely because regular tours ban cameras: a 75-minute after-hours investigation (the first YouTubers allowed in after dark; the Devil's rocking chair, the Dybbuk Box, the once-closed basement), Bagans personally guiding Entertainment Tonight through the 1938 Wengert Mansion in 2019, and the Ghost Adventures special on the museum's creation — three workers quit during construction, prompting an emergency investigation before it could open. Waivers, small groups, 16+ policy: the museum is open and running downtown; its own page on this site stays brief because filmed supply is exactly this rare.
The seasonal layer
The Adventuredome's Fear Zone — the dome's first Halloween haunt in seven years, as filmed — takes over the park after dark in season. Haunted Harvest at Springs Preserve (October 22–25, 2026) is previewed mid-setup: giant spiders and skeletons along the Botanical Garden paths, trick-or-treat stations, crafts and carnival games — a music-track film, so treat it as a visual preview. The Arte Museum's October 2026 spooky-season walk (34 minutes) is the most current look at its rooms as dressed for the season; theming differs the rest of the year. Halloween in Vegas, in short: one permanent haunt at full power, one un-filmable museum, and a month of seasonal takeovers — check dates before you plan around any of them.
