Gather for an athletic event. Energize on the tennis and racquetball courts. Watch the kids splash in the cool waters of the splash pad. No matter your choice of activity, James Park is a great place to play!

James Park, located at 1700 James St, South Daytona, features an array of facilities including lighted fields with electronic scoreboards, two lighted four-wall racquetball courts, a lighted tennis court, press box/concession stand, restrooms, a picnic area, a playground, and a water splash park.

For local residents, there is a Youth Activity Center offering tumbling and cheering, Tae Kwon Do, baseball, private lessons, flag football, and a variety of summer camps and programs. James Park also has one pavilion available for rental.

Simply contact the Parks and Recreation office at 386-322-3070 to learn how to reserve the pavilion for a gathering. The park is open daily from dawn to 10:00 PM.

*Please note: The racquetball courts are locked. Visitors must go to the Parks and Recreation office located at the Piggotte Center, 504 Big Tree Rd. to reserve a key with a $5 refundable deposit.
