The Hollywood Star Cars Museum at 914 Parkway, by traffic light #8, has parked more than 50 screen-famous cars in Gatlinburg since 1996 — many of them genuine George Barris creations, including a Batmobile Barris himself signed. The General Lee anchors the Dukes corner; Fast & Furious machinery, Back to the Future and TV classics fill the two floors. Bear Facts' history film is the page's spine: who George Barris was, how the collection came to Tennessee, and why the cars here are the real builds, not replicas.

The full tours (the Carpetbagger's fan-walk is the affectionate one) take the inventory slowly: movie and TV sets reconstructed around the cars, the General Lee's working details, the Batmobile's Barris signature. Cars rotate, so the tours from different years differ — the honest way to read them. The kids'-eye walk-through tests the museum on its family merits and files a five-star verdict.
Two audiences
Gearheads get provenance — Barris, the sign on the Batmobile, the builds' materials. Everyone else gets recognition: scene by scene, car by car, 'I know that one.' The museum's scale suits the Parkway pattern: a strong hour, climate-controlled, in the middle of the walk.
