Six films is this guide's honest size — Gatlinburg's events map through the catalog is concentrated rather than broad — and the set covers the year's anchors. Ober's Oktoberfest leads: the 2025 review (greatest-hits review reel, folk dancing, a Hungarian spätzle) and the full 4K scene (tram up, Bavarian party band room, fly fishing on the creek below).

The Bear-Varian Beer Festival at Anakeesta — gathering brews under a bear theme on the mountaintop, supporting Appalachian Bear Rescue — is the town's most on-brand festival, German and Appalachian at once.
The fireflies
The synchronous firefly event is the Smokies' signature natural show, and this page carries it in two years: the 2025 HD film (issued via the park's parking-pass lottery system; red lights only — the whole event runs on the honor system of darkness) and the 2024 display at Elkmont, shot on professional night-vision gear with the camera settings given. Peak is a few weeks in late May and early June, and luck is part of it.
Nights
Ripley's 2022 Fright Nights late-night horror opens the Halloween season, and The Village at Christmas closes the year.
