The Boardwalk is Daytona's old soul: a beachfront strip of amusements, arcades, snack stands and rides anchored by the Main Street Pier, which reaches out over the Atlantic at the foot of Main Street. Every film on this page is a walk — this is a place best understood at ground level, at strolling speed, and the cameras here do exactly that.
The boardwalk at walking pace
The longest film is a full 2026 walking tour of the boardwalk and pier, nearly fifty minutes of it, and a second 4K walk covers the same ground from the pier along the amusement strip. Between them they show the boardwalk as it actually is: classic arcade-and-taffy beachfront, worn in places, lively in season, with the beach itself always one glance to the east.
The Main Street Pier
The pier is the boardwalk's exclamation point — fishing off the end, a seafood restaurant out over the water, and the view back along the beach that the CVB's own pier film lingers on. The two-part 'World Famous Daytona Beach' films from You Me And The Dock work the pier and beachfront on foot, the local-guide version of the same walk.
What surrounds it
The boardwalk does not stand alone: the Bandshell's free summer concerts sit just north, the Ocean Walk Shoppes complex rises behind it, and Main Street — Bike Week's famous strip — runs west from the pier. Everything on this page is within a few minutes' walk of everything else, which is precisely the boardwalk's appeal.
