Spring break in Branson is the season's soft open: the parks wake up, the coasters roll, and the crowds have not peaked. Six films catch the town in that exact window, most of them filmed on spring trips themselves.
What's new this spring
Zach and Kim bring three generations back to Branson's Wild World for its newest addition — the African penguin exhibit, built where the mini-golf course used to be — checking on the octopus, the dingo experience (about $5 extra) and a rhino rat snake along the way. At Silver Dollar City, FindUsHere's Spring Exposition 2025 day runs the park in festival mode: Mystic River Falls, Time Traveler, the then-new Fire in the Hole, live music and the Rivertown Smokehouse, with honest crowd notes and the uphill-walk warning.
Coasters, compared
Both mountain coasters are here for the head-to-head. The Branson Fam ride the Runaway with the safety-tablet routine and their own brake hands; BunnyPlaysHere rides the Copperhead full-POV and ranks it first of Branson's three coasters — it builds speed fast, banking aggressive but smooth, tickets at the booth by Inspiration Tower or in advance.
Fill the rest of the week
The Track Family Fun Parks' 2017 film tours the Strip's kart-and-arcade locations as official watch footage, and Branson Shenanigans spend a keeper-led day at Promised Land Zoo — Lollipop the spider monkey, kangaroos, a sloth, and Nubian ibex that stay outdoors through the Ozarks winter.
