Presleys' Country Jubilee is where Branson began: the Presley family's show was the first on Highway 76, still family-run, and still broadcast Saturday nights on RFD-TV. Theater shows film poorly from the seats, so this page is built the honest way — one visitor's walkthrough, then the music itself from the theater's own channel.
The show as it sounds
A young visitor's walkthrough introduces the room; the performances carry it. Jay Wickizer sings Conway Twitty's 'Goodbye Time' and Brooks & Dunn's 'Neon Moon,' and performs 'One More Day.' Tim Gregg and the Presley Band tear into the western-swing standard 'Roly Poly' — fiddles, steel, and the house band that has backed this show for decades. Tiffany Sassanella takes Bobbie Gentry's 'Ode to Billy Joe.'
The Christmas Jubilee
Two films mark the second season: the Christmas Jubilee medley in seasonal dress, and Chuck Crain with Rebekah Osmond singing 'Oh Holy Night' — the show's sacred-music moment, a Presleys tradition from the family's gospel roots. All seven performance films are presented as performance footage, which is what they are: the sound of a good seat at Branson's first show.
