Million Dollar Quartet recreates December 4, 1956 — the night Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins jammed at Sun Studio in Memphis. In Branson the production plays at Shepherd of the Hills as a dinner show, and this page's lead film-makers liked it enough to film it twice.
The evening, twice
TPF! Travel Plus visited for a third viewing and filmed the full format — the Shepherd of the Hills complex, dinner first (grilled chicken, green beans and dessert, as filmed), then the show. Their second film uses the Branson production as a preview: they were headed to Memphis and the real Sun Studio next. Copyright keeps show footage brief in both; the films focus on the experience, and say so.
The cast
Riley Jenkins, an award-winning Elvis tribute artist, talks about playing Presley inside the Sun Studio story and what the four leads carry. Lindsey Franco explains her unique billing — the production's only female cast member, 'the one girl in it nobody knows about' — and her choreography work. A 2024 Branson Country USA episode and a short Explore Branson profile (both without usable caption tracks) stand as performance footage.
