Two boats define cruising out of Branson: a 700-seat paddle-wheeler on Table Rock Lake and a riverboat on Taneycomo at the Landing. This guide gives the Showboat five films across its two eras and the Lake Queen the operator's own two — and it is careful about the difference between a boat's film record and its current timetable.
Silver Dollar City's Showboat, the current boat
The paddle-wheeler relaunched in 2026 as Silver Dollar City's Showboat, and two films document the rebirth from inside: the Branson Fam ride the debut sailing — new show, the same dinner-cruise format — and the Silver Dollar City Podcast's Cole and Madie cruise with the crew for 26 minutes, reviewing what is new and answering listener mail. It is the most detailed spoken tour of the current boat that exists.
The Belle era, on the record
Three films preserve the boat as the Showboat Branson Belle: OutRage's 2023 sailing, a Christmas cruise with the boat dressed for the season from BransonVisitorTV, and Silver Dollar City's own backstage film of the Made in the USA cast — shot, its description states, for that show's final season in 2014. Watch them as the boat's history, which the 2026 films then continue.
The Lake Queen films
Main Street Lake Cruises' two films are the operator's own: the day the marina — the Lake Queen's home — was moved upstream on Taneycomo in one 425-foot piece to its Landing dock, and the company's thank-you film to veterans and active-duty members. The Lake Queen's current operating status is unconfirmed in our sources, so this page presents its films as the operator's record and asserts no sailing schedule. Check with the Landing before planning around it.
