Downtown is where Branson began — the older, hillier district by the lakefront, distinct from the Strip — and it got a facelift in 2025: a new archway, accessible walking paths, refreshed streets. This page tours it on foot and by trolley.
The walk
Branson Fam's full tour leads: favorite shops, places to eat and hidden spots — 417 Vintage Market with the Commercial Street Coffee shop hidden inside it — with Sparky, the free downtown trolley, threading through the day. A FindUsHere stay at the Main Street Hilton places the district: railway depot next door, Branson Landing directly across, its fountain-and-fire show running on the hour into the evening (8 p.m. as filmed).
Breakfast and the trolley tours
Clockers Cafe, a block from the downtown hotels, anchors a Sunday-morning film — scratch pancakes, true Canadian bacon, breakfast all day until 3 p.m. — before a narrated drive out the Strip's west end. Two Trolley Trips films then sightsee by appetite: the Super Sweets Tour (ice cream, donuts, artisanal cheeses, boba, and a stop at the Celebrity Car Museum) and the Best Burger Tour, whose headline is Big D's Barbecue — Texas-style brisket, voted Branson's best barbecue six years running. A BransonVisitorTV promo fronted by Tony Orlando closes the set as watch content.
