Fall is Branson's connoisseur season — the Ozarks turn, the air cools and the festivals stack up. Full disclosure up front: fall-specific film is the scarcest corner of the Branson catalog, so this page's seven films mix true autumn footage with the places that wear the season best, and say so.
The season on film
The Branson Fam's fall guide is the anchor: Branson as the color turns, cooling temperatures, pumpkin displays and the attractions that transform for the season. Silver Dollar City's Harvest Festival runs through two of its films — Pumpkins in the City after dark, all illuminated displays, and the Harvest tasting ticket worked across five seasonal treats to judge whether the pass pays. Shepherd of the Hills' Pumpkinfest 2024 adds the farm-festival version: a fall day on the homestead campus, pumpkins and activities in the property's autumn dress.
Where the color is
The Road to Adventure's Dogwood Canyon walk — trails, waterfalls, the treehouse, tickets $18–20 at filming — is the foliage walk, canyon hardwoods over trout water. FindUsHere drive the long way through Eureka Springs in the season: Highway 62's lodging strip, Main Street's Victorian storefronts and the Crescent Hotel above town.
The quiet acres
Outdoor Vista's film of the Ruth and Paul Henning Conservation Area closes the page: 1,534 acres of preserved Ozark hills northwest of Branson, given by Beverly Hillbillies creator Paul Henning and his wife Ruth — the least mediated fall color on this page, and for some visitors the best.
