The College of the Ozarks, at Point Lookout just south of Branson, is one of America's most unusual visitor stops: a private Christian college of about 1,500 students where full-time students pay no tuition. They work — 15 hours a week in campus jobs, plus two full work weeks a year — across more than 100 campus industries, with scholarships and donations covering the rest. Visitors tour the campus freely.
The working campus
Two walking tours cover it: WanderingWalksofWonder's full pass through the campus hubs, and Branson Fam's family day out — past Lake Honor to Edwards Mill, a replica 1800s grist mill whose 12-foot waterwheel turns on the lake's runoff, ground by student workers. Visitors walk the sights in any order.
The public face
The Keeter Center — the college's lodge, restaurant and conference center, staffed by students — gets two short films (watch content). A stained-glass short visits the chapel's craft tradition. And a Branson Fam film of the college's Honor America celebration — staged for America's 250th birthday with drones and fireworks — stands as watch content only: its one caption track is a non-English auto-translation, so no transcript is stored, and the page says so.
