American Police Hall of Fame

Respect. Honor. Remember.

“All units stand by for a moment of silence in honor of Daytona Beach Police Officer, Jason Raynor… (Silence)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Daytona Beach Police Officer, Jason Raynor. This afternoon on August 17, 2021, Officer Jason Raynor succumbed to his line of duty injuries that he sustained on June 23, 2021. Please keep Jason, his family, his law enforcement brothers and sisters, and the entire Daytona Beach community in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Blessed are the peacemakers.

Central clear.” Last call for Officer Jason Raynor

Last call, also known as final call, is a formal broadcast to honor a police officer that has made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. In 2021 there were 445 police officers killed in the line of duty in the United States. Jason Raynor of Daytona Beach was one of those heroes. Founded in 1960, the American Police Hall of Fame and Museum in Titusville is a law enforcement museum and memorial dedicated to American law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.

The Memorial at The American Police Hall of Fame honors over 10,300 federal, state and local law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the safety and protection of our nation and its people. With new names added each year, it provides a reflective space for family and visitors to pay their respects to these fallen heroes.

The museum, dedicated to telling the story of American law enforcement, provides visitors with nearly 11,000 exhibits and artifacts. Working to expand and enrich the relationship shared by law enforcement and the community, it offers educational journeys, immersive exhibitions, and insightful programs for all ages.

Not just a museum, this facility, located at 6350 Horizon Drive just south of Titusville, Florida also features a state-of-the-art simulator, shooting range, safety classes, and personal protection training; helping civilians learn to practice situational awareness and become safe, responsible citizens.
